Rub, rub, rub your boat gently as can be.......cause when your done you will be surprised at what you see.
Wow....we had not waxed the hull of Ti Amo prior to departure and while that is not a good thing, today she is shining and the water is reflecting off her stern so beautifully.
Greg waxed the starboard side of the hull today as I finished the topside along with the stanchions. It was funny to watch Jaxon slipping as he tried to climb into the cockpit. After waxing I turn my attention to the inside and vacuuming.....it is amazing what four feet bring in and then there is the little four footed dust mop that adds to the dirt pile. Oh well.....that is why they make the vacuum.
I took Jaxon and Good Girl Pearl for a walk to stretch all of our legs. Jaxon wanted to play the entire time and Pearl just kept her head high and ignored the little brat. It was quite entertaining until Jaxon had enough and laid in the road in the shade and insisted on not moving.
Back at the house Mari-Etta and Ed are hanging a heart that they have been working on to be placed out in the yard. I stop to chat and offer assistance in hanging it.
Back on our weather apps we are looking and the conversations are not sounding good for crossing anytime before Christmas. This is not great news and we try to figure out what our future plan looks like. We cannot leave the boat unattended as we have in years past because we do not have any electrical hookup so leaving the boat is not an option. We will make the best of it and hunker down with the incoming front.
Off to the showers and on to dinner. J & W crab cakes......I cannot wait!
