The Picture Says It All
21 December 2019 | Key Largo, FL
A very slow day as the rain is beating on the cabin top and the wind is howling out of the east-northeast.
Greg, Jaxon and I have no plan for the day other than to catch up on reading and a few minor chores. We have a rental car but truly there is not much to do other than to go shopping. Thanks to Amazon, eBay, West Marine and UPS, we get most of our shopping done online. And yes there is a Publix that delivers here too so I don’t even have to go grocery shopping, but that is one thing I still enjoy.......window shopping at the grocery store. I enjoy more than ever reading labels on foods and trying to figure out the best choice for us.
I also still enjoy window shopping at the various gift shops and my favorite is Shell World. I saw the towel in the picture and it is so true....between our dear friends Mari-Etta and Ed and the laid back easy life of the Florida Keys.....this is the life for me!
With a quick outing to pick up dinner for the evening and get a little walking in, we are back at Ti Amo and settling in for our first Christmas movie. Greg had taped a Hallmark movie (of all things....lol) and we were now watching The Christmas Cottage. While no academy award winner, it was a pleasant little romantic story about the magic of Christmas. We hope that all will experience some Christmas magic this season as we are surrounded by friends, family and strangers we meet along our shopping paths.
