I would say up with the crow of the roosters but here that would mean I never went to bed as these guys crow all night long....or so it seems. Greg helped me load the laundry in the dinghy and then drove me over to the dock outside Ida's. I was the first there and I was in the dryers before anyone else braved the morning hours. Yesterday it was packed all day with folks so I wanted to get in there early as Laurie, Janice and I were hoping to get a walk to the beach before lunch.
Laundry completed by 8:45, so Greg and Jaxon came in to help me load and head back to Ti Amo. We stopped by 2Outrageous to let Laurie know we were good to go for a walk at any time.
Greg was making water and finishing that up when we got the call to go walking. Jaxon and Greg joined as did a lot of other folks. We went to the blow hole and the cave on the beach side and did a little sea glass and sea bean hunting.
Jaxon and Greg were waiting for me at the government dock as I did a little more walking and then we went into town for a little lunch. Grouper fingers and a chicken sandwich with a salad. Very nice lunch. We left town and headed to a catamaran that I had met in the laundry. She commented that she had a yorkie that was twelve and that she would not use the puppy pads that they had on board so she offered them to us. So we stopped by Sublime, a Fountaine Pajot and met Carlina and Chris from Chapel Hill. It was a lovely visit and a beautiful boat. Jaxon got to make another friend who was quite small compared to him.
Back to Ti Amo where we await the visit of Jazzy Lady and their two cute children, Allister and Annie. They had go to school in Black Point today and were coming to see Jaxon as their "treat" after school. They both seemed to have a great day and they made some new friends and I think the children here in Black Point learned a bit about Canada as that is where they hail from.
After our visit with the kids, we are back to land for another cruisers happy hour at one of the establishments. Well done! They offered 2 for 1 rum punches at $6 and beers were $4 each. They put out chips and cheese and popcorn and followed it with chicken wings......all free of charge. Greg and I ordered grouper fingers and called it dinner and headed home shortly after that.
Tomorrow we will head to Lee Stocking or somewhere along the way.
