That is how this life should be ...... light and variable. The variable I think we have mastered but it is the light we are seeking to attain.
We have no plans for the day except to check out the new Peace and Plenty beach bar where they welcome folks from 11-5 to come enjoy the water, the bar, the sand and the LOUD music. I don’t want to be negative but I cannot turn my hearing aids off (yet).
We took Jaxon for a nice walk on Hamburger Beach before heading to Peace and Plenty. There was a gentleman cleaning a rather good sized mutton snapper. Again I wish I were fishing but I will be satisfied with purchasing the fresh fish that has already been cleaned.
After leaving Peace and Plenty we headed to Chat N Chill to visit a bit and to get some conch salad. Oh my goodness. The news of Kobe Bryant has reached here and Greg is chatting with the locals about it while i watch this gentlemen throw a knife to the conch salad with some MAD skills. It was fun to watch but also tasted amazing. I am a fan of conch salad when properly chopped and seasoned. I would recommend this stand at Chat N Chill if you ever want to try conch salad.
Late at night and first thing in the morning when the hustle and bustle are at bay is my favorite time. It is so peaceful you can almost hear a pin drop and you can see the ever so slight ripple in the water.
