So good to run into Carl and Deb on River Rat. We had made a plan for a walk on the ocean with them. It was probably one of the nicest beaches we have been on.
We entered the cut to the beach by way of the entrance to the hurricane hole behind Chat N Chill and anchored the dinghies on the beach there. We walked up the steep rocky hill to see the beautiful blue ocean and the pristine beach. There has been a group cleaning this beach so there is not all the trash you will find on a lot of beaches in the Bahamas. Trash is one of their biggest problems here on the island with really no where to dispose of it. They burn a great deal of it but there is still more than household trash to consider.
Jaxon is getting braver each day. He now will wander to the front of the dinghy as if leading the charge. We are off to get lunch again at Peace and Plenty Beach Bar. The people watching is fun and the atmosphere is spot on for a beach bar.
We call it a day around 2 and head back to Ti Amo for the evening, reading books and catching up on emails and things at home.
