What a season
02 March 2020 | Hog Cay, Raggeds, Bahamas
With every year we are amazed at the new faces we see here and the ones we actually get to meet. We have enjoyed each and as always we all make a vow to stay in touch but life happens and we all know that is difficult.
Yesterday we met a young couple from Roanoke. They left their jobs after 30 years, bought a boat and headed for the Bahamas. I am here to tell you that is a first. I have never heard of someone buying a boat for the first time and heading across the ocean. But as he grew up he said he learned more on the job and this is his approach. I applaud them both.
We will spend another day or two waiting and working our way back up to Jumentos back toward George Town. Our plan is to get a few groceries and hopefully run into River Rat and then head to Lee Stocking and await Crossroads arrival. Saving all the best for the last part of our trip before Thom and Lynn arrive the end of March.
And another day is done!
