Flat as a pancake was the river leading us out to the ocean at 7:30 this morning. It was high slack tide as we left and uneventful. The only way to be in MY book.
The entire day was spent reading, catching up on needlework, watching football and discussing plans for the next week. Very relaxing day for most....of course Jaxon was still a little nervous but not as bad as usual.
By 1630 hours we are picking a fight with a mooring ball that we should have just been picking up, but thank goodness the municipal marina had someone come help us. Seems the mooring pendant had gotten wrapped around the bottom of the ball and had to be unwound. Thankful for the help and now we will call it a day!
Moody Blues.....a little wine and then dinner.
