Marco Island........beautiful! It truly is a gorgeous place with every comfort available within a 3 mile radius. With that being said, while I enjoy a brisk walk, one with laundry bags in hand was not going to happen. No....I “Ubered” to the laundromat with four loads ready to hit the machines. It was a very clean establishment with a very friendly mask clad manager. I felt I was in the right place. All loaded.....$2.75 a load and detergent in......we are off. If you have never experienced life on a boat, then you may not understand the feeling you get when you bring clean clothes, sheets and towels back. It is a very satisfying moment for some of us. Anyhow, we are all loaded and running when the next three or four guests come in to do their laundry WITHOUT their masks. WHAT THE HECK??? I stepped outside sprayed my hand sanitizer, rubbed my hands vigorously and headed back in after they left. I don’t get the blatant refusal to adhere to the storefront sign that says to wear a mask. Oh well. Again, just an observation. Most every where we have been has been mask laden but here and Key West it has been hit or miss.

Now truly for the birds.......the eateries! The pelicans sit and wait as they seem to have learned that if you wait long enough someone will throw you a crumb or better yet fish head. They are entertaining for about thirty minutes, then they get annoying. They are even comical at times but the thing we enjoy most is to sit upon Ti Amo an watch the graceful play of the dolphin. I have not caught them with my camera yet as they seem to have this trick of disappearing whenever I raise my phone.
