Good things come!

I had always been told as a child that "good things come to those that wait"! Well they have! A "throw together in the eleventh hour" plan has produced some sunshine that only comes from within. About a week ago, Robin and I were chatting via text and she was wondering if while I was in Fort Myers waiting on the generator repair I would like to do lunch. Strange question I thought .......she being in Virginia and me in Florida. Virtual lunch? No! She was willing to drive down to Florida to bring some sunshine of a different kind.
We have not been in a marina since Brunswick Georgia, so we get to enjoy the amenities of the Pink Shell Resort and Marina. Four pools (age assigned), free washers and dryers, beach chairs, beach towels, food delivery by the pool or beach and countless opportunities to people watch. Not to mention I get to do this with not only Greg, but Robin too! What fun!
Our plans have morphed into an open ended cruise to Key West with Robin. She is free and the snow and ice at home are not enticing her to come home so we get to spend some time sailing (motoring) together. A dinner at Nervous Nellys with Gracie, our Caliber friends Dan and Vicky would be our last at Fort Myers as we shove off Tuesday morning for Marco Island.
After dinner Robin and I headed to Publix for a final grocery run. Robin is great at Tetris and that is what we will need to fill our fridge and freezer. Everything has to fit and I have e best tool aboard to see that it will.
As of this writing we are heading to Marco and will await weather to get us to the Shark River.
