A Day on the Boat
19 January 2020 | Williams Cay, Exumas, Bahamas
We did not get much sleep the night of the howling winds so this day would be spent watching the wind instrument.
Most of the readings you see were from the night but during the day is was not much different.
Most dinghies in the anchorage stayed put until sometime after 2:00 pm and at that point we were actually making our plans for departure on Sunday so our dinghy would stay put.
The weather is forecasting for a lull on Sunday and Monday with another front passing through on Tuesday with winds from the NW-N. We will be in George Town for that frontal system and the winds are predicted to be in the low 30’s. We will either go into Goat Cay or Crab Cay.......Crab Cay would be the desired anchorage but it may be full when we get there so we will have to wait and see.
Lots of reading, Sudoku, planning trips and playing with Jaxon filled our day. It is nice to have a day like that every once in a while. I mean don’t retired folks get a day “off”? LOL
