Our morning starts with Greg going ashore to burn our trash with others that have gathered to do the same. He and Jaxon take off leaving me the perfect time to wash a load of clothes (by hand) and hang as well as wiping down the interior of the boat. I continued the theme and vacuumed the inside and cockpit area. So within a couple of hours we are feeling pretty good about Ti Amo and sit down to lunch.

Laurie called and she, Susie off of C Language and I are going to head to shore to walk the beaches on the Atlantic side. Paul dropped us off and we took the path closest to the yacht club. Right away I found a hamburger bean and then would look for another two hours only to be disappointed in the “goodies”. However, I was not disappointed in the view and the calming of the ocean. Just walking in silence is like meditation time for me.

We return around 1500 hours and Greg picks us up and we return to the boats for an hour to prepare for the daily 1600 Cocktail Hour at the yacht club. Everyone carries a drink and sit and talk about their day as we await the sunset and the green flash! With mostly a cloud cover, we won’t see that flash tonight but we do make plans for a pizza party at the yacht club tomorrow. Everyone brings a homemade pizza to share.

So we have seven total boats in the anchorage....it is amazing to compare that to George Town who reports four hundred boats. This is the life for me! If not for the need to re provisiom, I would not see George Town again.....but it has its uses.

Off to Ti Amo for a lobster dinner. Yes when we start eating our lobster the freezer is getting empty and the choices are fewer. Oh well.....pizza tomorrow!
