A peaceful night sleep on Awendaw Creek. It will be a favorite in the future for sure. When we woke this morning we were pleased to see that the sailboat that pulled in late at night were friends we met last year at Joe's Sound and had caught up with in Deltaville before departing, Jubilee II. Julie and Bill are live aboard cruisers that hail from New Bern, NC but spend their days cruising the east coast. Always good to know folks are around that you know and can offer guidance when ahead of you in some tight spots along the ICW.

As you can see the weather is still pretty messy but we are hopeful we will see that round thing in the sky break through the clouds today. We receive calls from Spartina and Jubilee II regarding a dredge pipe that is causing some navigational issues. With the call from Jubilee II, we see a boat pass by us that when we arrive are pulling the dredge pipe and securing it back in place. Sometimes it just pays to be the last guy in the fleet.

As we arrive into Charleston Harbor, Ti Amo awaits the container ship Yang Ming and falls off to her stern and around to the City Dock anchorage where we find Spartina and 2Outrageous. Pete and Dixon are tied to the docks for the night as they are provisioning for an offshore excursion tomorrow morning. 2Outrageous is taking on fuel and then after some careful consideration and a moment or two more, decide to drop anchor with us and head to the grocery store.

We "Ubered" together to Harris Teeter with Jaxon in tow. Laurie and I head into the store with short lists that add up pretty quickly. With bags full, we head back to the marina and Greg arranges with Spartina a last happy appy hour before their departure.

Pete and Dixon were quite the hosts and we enjoyed an hour together before giving them a final farewell (in person). Again someone in this group failed to get a group shot and I had taken my phone just for that purpose. Old age is a funny thing.

Safely back on board Ti Amo we cannot believe how flat the harbor is and are looking forward to a restful night.
