Travel to Tashmoo Lake

We departed Marblehead and motor sailed to Plymouth, MA. As we were sailing past Boston and down the coast, we couldn't help but notice the haze. Then, when we were anchoring, we saw this incredible SUN. This is not your typical "red sky at night, as sailor's delight". It looked more like a rising full [...]

Marblehead

As I mentioned, Marblehead has become one of our favorite cruising destinations this year. We arrived Saturday) of their big "Race Week". We knew it was going to be crowded and we also new that it was going to be rainy on Sunday. So, we dropped the DINGHY in the water, mounted the engine, changed our [...]

Isle of Shoals

Nantucket truly is one of the most beautiful spots on God's earth. We were here 34 years ago and enjoyed it, but I don't remember being as impressed with it then as we've been this time around. It's like Charleston on steroids! It dates back to about the same time (1671) and has similar grand architecture, but it's better preserved here. It also helps that we're having incredible weather - crystal blue skies and highs in the 70s. We've thoroughly enjoyed strolling the cobblestone streets learning a bit of history of the city through house tours and the whaling museum. I'm so sorry that I didn't get better pictures...
