First Underway and At new Temp Home

11 April 2010 | Mustang Yacht Marina
Cool/warm Sunny wind 2 to 5 kts
Well this Morning Gypsy Soul and Earl "(a long time Texas friend of mine) got underway for the engine test and then on to her new temporary new home at Mustang Yachts. We will be here for about a month and then will head to Fl.

The Engine runs like a top so smooth and quite. We only went out for about an hour this time, just to get the engine a short break in time. Another reason was that I forgot to but the life vest on board. Been in the yard so long and you do not need LV when on the Hard (another word for yard) . Plus we had not obtained the Texas Reg Sticker yet. SO to save embarrassment and most likely a heavy fine if caught , we turned around and headed for her new dockage at Mustang Yachts.

How we start loading all the little items that we did put on and of course outfit her (provisions and so forth). There are a few items that I want to try to get done before we get under way. A lot depends on how the weather holds. Most of these things are nothing more than cosmetic and could mostly wait till Fl but there are one or two that must be done.

Well that all for now. Everyone stay save and be good

'Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.' - "Mark Twain" -
