Here are a few photos of our boat. She is a 1975 Tartan Ocean Cruising Ketch (TOCK). She measures in at 41' 9", and 28,000 lbs. She is a shallow draft model at 4' 4" which was the original design. Some years after the boats were built, an owner worked with the boat's design firm, Sparkman & Stephens, to increase the draft and add a small bowsprit. Some of the boats out there have one, or both, of these modifications, but ours is original. We have removed the old alcohol stove and replaced it with propane, added appropriate electronics, canvas, replaced sails, added an inner forestay and running backs to support a storm jib on a furler, done plenty of upgrades and maintenance on the original, 36 year old Ford Lehman 80 hp 4 banger. The engine has about 2600 hours on it.
