We Made the North Channel

30 July 2014
We're in Killarney tonight, gateway to the North Channel. It's a very interesting and busy little port with lot's of boat traffic. We had a really nice cruise down the Collins Inlet Channel and the sun was actually out and it looked like summer. The temperature on the other hand was another matter. It's the 30th of July and Sam was decked out in her touque and gloves as it was extremely cool. Finn, was in his usual cruise position under 2 blankets doing his best impression of a hibernating bear.

We got a slip at the Sportsman's Inn and have a front row seat (make that slip) for tonight's Boat-In theatre movie. This has got to be first! Tomorrow, we hit the channel and see if this really is the best fresh water cruising area in the world!
