Day 2 of our trip south from the North Channel with even less wind than yesterday. It was a bit hazy and you couldn't tell the water from the sky on the horizon so it seemed pretty weird. The photo looks pretty drab but that is what it looked like for most of the trip yet,we could see islands 12 miles away.

We got down to the famous Flowerpot Island and it was a flurry of activity with tour boats and personal watercraft all over the place. As we neared Tobermory it became apparent we were back in civlization, on a long weekend to boot. The place was hopping but we managed to get a slip in the main harbour and after hitting the grocery store and the showers, we had a great BBQ dinner and walk through town.

Our son Chris and his girlfriend Justine are coming tomorrow to spend a week with us. We're hoping for some wind so we can sail the south western shore of Georgian Bay.
