Clarkes Court Bay

Clarkes Court Bay is adjacent to the quaint Village of Woburn and we are anchored here. It is what Mike and I would describe as, the true Caribbean. Why, because everything is laid back here, even the animals, dogs, goats, chickens, cockerills and chicks stroll about the village and nobody bats an eye lid, not even our dogs. The people are very friendly and helpful and if you want something special, food or a boat item, they usually know were to get it. Some families live in modest accommodation (shacks) but there are some beautiful properties surrounding the bay. We are just trauling our way around the cafes and bars which offer a variety of cuisine at very reasonable prices compared to other areas of the Caribbean. Nimrod,s serve an excellent roti at 12 eastern caribbean, Taffy,s are famous for their fish (mai mai, no cod or haddock here) and chips and Whisper cove Marina do delicous steak. The little Dipper will be our next port of call. The picture is taken from our boat looking towards Taffy,s Restaurant which has a delightful view of the bay from the balcony.
