Roll on the spring
Tried to book flights with dog and after much telephone conversations decided to go by car by way of Ravenna to Igumenitsa ferry. Really fed up with all the storms, never seen it this bad.
Well finally made it

Hi all,
After 4 days of travel including 1 stop in
France 2 in Italy, we caught the Ravenna ferry to Igumanitsa for an 1 1/2 trip to the boat. It has finally come off charter and has all the necessary paper-work in place as a British flagged yacht.
I installed 2 solar panels to run the fridge day and night, passerelle, chart plotter by the helm complete with power supply and a wireless anchor windless control....phew, 4 days work.
The worst bit was finally to get the DEKPA from the Greek port police to enable us to go sailing.........this was achieved by using Helen, who speaks Greek like a local, doing the necessary form filling etc.
So now one final shop in Lidl's and we will be off tomorrow heading up towards the Corinth Canal for £250 worth of toll (one way) bloody expensive for 3.5 miles of canal!!!!!
