Great Guana Cay
22 November 2008
Sailed to Great Guana Cay, which seems to be best known for its two bars, drinking bars not submerged bars, Nippers and Grabbers (we haven't figured out the significance of these names yet). So, we went to Grabbers, which is on the beach in front of CATHARSIS, and then walked to Nippers for what has become our island fish of choice, wahoo. Watched a serious construction project at Nippers as they installed a new main beam in the restaurant. It took ten men since they could only use one hand each, the other was to hold their Kilik beers while they worked. Snorkeled from the boat over a nearby reef.
