The pace has been pretty slow aboard Havili for the last few days. Being in a calm anchorage for the first time in 10 days or so, has made us each appreciate simply being still. What a wonderful thing!
On the sail from San Benedicto to Punta Tosco, on Socorro, where we are anchored now, I pulled some muscles in my back while furling in the mizzen sail. Because of this I have really been taking it easy since we arrived. In some ways its been nice because of the enormous amount of reading ive been able to accomplish. I swear I should write my own book on sailing as I have read so many how to's at this point. Its gotten to the point where every new book I pick up has an introduction written by another author that I have recently read. However I am beginning to get slightly bored staring at the ceiling and not being able to explore this new area. But today is the first day where I am noticing a marked improvement so im sure I will be back out there soon. Beyond that there hasnt been too much to report on my end. Hope everyone reading this is doing well!
