There are about 30 boats anchored between North and South Benjamin Island but we are alone on the North East corner. To recap the last few days: After we left Vidal Bay we sailed over to "Beardrop Harbor". It is just another anchorage that provides good shelter. On Thursday we sailed over to Gore Bay. We tried to fly the Spinnaker but it would not unfurl all of the way. We had to pull it down and stuff it away. While we have always had this sail we just installed an extendable bow sprit and a Karver furler for our new Code Zero light air sail and also the spinnaker instead of using the snuffer sock. We got everything sorted out in Gore Bay (spread the sail open on the lawn outside the farmers market) and sailed it several times since. Just a learning curve with the new furler...the torsion line that the sail furls around has to be EXTREMELY tight. Imagine that you have a rope 60 feet line and it has to be so pulled tight that when you turn it at one end, the other end must turn at the same rate. Anyways, I am posting a picture (I hope) today and will post a few more in our album once we get to WiFi.
