Sunday July 27, 2014 45.55.980 N 81.46.168 W Heywood Island We left Little Current on Thursday and had a short sail to Heywood Island. We have been here many time before. On Friday we set sail again to Bay Fin where we spent two nights. It was fun trying to keep the sails flying in between the ranges of hills on both sides of the bay. We had the whisker pole up and down three times...in about 2 hours! At least we are getting good with it. On Saturday we went for our little hike up the hill across from us. The hardest part of the whole thing was finding a safe place to beach the dink. We finally found a spot about a 100 metres up the shore from where we wanted to start climbing. Unfortunately, it was pretty dense bush between where we were and where we want to be. We made it though. We are uploading a couple of photos and a short movie of the view at the top. We also took the opportunity to check emails and make a couple of calls from the top since we now had cell coverage this high. Once back to the dink we should everything off to make sure no spiders had joined us for the voyage and I STILL found a big one in the dink this morning. I think they like boats or something....it usually takes us a good chunk of the season to get rid of them and for some reason they take a bee-line to the top of the mast! We are back at Heywood Island for the night after leaving Bay fin this morning. Tomorrow we are heading to Covered Portage for a couple of days. It is just outside of Killarney and we are planning on doing a few more boat chores before we move on. We should have WIFI there but if not, at least cell service. We might pull up to the LCBO dock on the way there in Killarney. It is the only "LCBO parking only" dock that I know of..... Take care all and Happy birthday to Crystal and Jim!
