We got back to the boat last Monday and launched Tuesday after finishing the installation of the replacement transducer. It is now working fine as is the Max Prop which we adjusted one setting to try to resolve our engine over-heat issues. (After discussions with the Max Prop people) Our engine had been overheating at higher RPM's, ranges that we very seldom run, but they had us do a max RPM check and sure enough, we could not make max RPM so the setting was off a bit. I won't say what other work we have done to resolve this issue but suffice it to say, it has been almost three years.... We did a short sail on Wednesday over to Kerr Bay, not far from the marina and worked on the boat for three days. Wash, install Laurie's hanging baskets for fruit, did a revised "weight and balance" (we had an aft C of G), and then on Saturday we sailed over to the marina and picked up Jamie and Brandon who joined us for a sail and the night back in Kerr Bay. On Monday we parked the boat back in the marina and got it ready for the 12 days we will be off the boat. We are heading back to Thunder Bay on Wednesday to fly for a week and for my (Bob's) clinic at the hospital. We also get to visit Ryan, Crystal, Sheldon, Payton and Atari!!! It will be good to see the grandkids! We have made the decision to up-step the mast and have it shipped to New York and we will be taking the canal system to catch up. Unfortunately, there just is not enough time to get out the St. Lawrence and beat the fall weather. We will be stepping the mast north of New York and will sail down the Hudson River, past Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We will work our way down to Chesapeake
