37.01.066 N 76.20.510 W October 04, 2104 We arrived in Hampton around 1030 AM after the all night sail from Cape Henlopen. We are here for the month at Blue Water Marina to get ready for the Salty Dawgs. We just found out that there are now 5 other Outbounds coming to the rally. I think this is the first time so many Outbounds have been in one spot! We are busy working on chores and I FINNALY updated our photo album today. Sorry, but the WiFi had been slow to say the least. It took me over 4 hours today... Laurie is in the cockpit slicing lines and I am working on chores. Boat washing is next. We remover the main sail as soon as we got here and I rowed it over to the North Sails loft about 300 yards from our boat for repairs. Talk about handy location! We are also commissioning their rigger to do a complete rig inspection on the boat to make sure we are ready from that standpoint. Pretty sure we are but Laurie and I rigged the mast this time around. (It looks straight) We do want to play it safe. We are off to Annapolis on Tuesday for our course on Wednesday and the boat show Thursday and Friday. Once back we need to go and sea trial the autopilot (again) as we finally got the software updated boxes back from Raymarine. And I think I found the problem that we have been having with the autopilot "hunting" and not holding heading in large seas, the clutch wires into the controller were reversed polarity. I would not have found this out except I had to remove the unit to send it to Raymarine in Catskill. (It failed the software upgrade they wanted us to do) I took a photo before I removed it (see album) to install our spare. Installing the other one was when I realized that it had been wired incorrectly to begin with. It has been working well since!
