28 ?03' N 69 ?09' W November 07, 2104 Things are generally good. Laurie and I have had a busy two days as our crew member got pretty sea sick and was not able to function. Laurie and I took turns sleeping in the cockpit as Dave was planted on the settee. It was rough but nothing we haven't seen before. Yesterday they got to the 10 - 12 foot range BUT they were not as short and steep which is what we are used to. Started seeing Flying fish yesterday. The water is about 27 C. Now that we got south enough to get out of the way of a cold front coming south (along with its' weather) AND now that the weather system between the Caribbean and Bermuda has slid north, we have now turned to a more Easterly course towards 65 degrees west. From there we should be able to pick up the Easterly Trade Winds and then sail direct to our destination. And last night we were hit with a couple of squalls associated with that weather system sliding north. It was wind and rain only but the wind hit 51 knots in the one squall. After it blew through the full moon came out and we saw our first "Moon Rain Bow". We have never seen a rainbow at night before. Tomorrow the winds are supposed to be light so it may be a motoring day. We will see! Dave is doing better today as well.
