N18.29.862; W 64.21.695 November 18, 2014 On the Mooring Ball - BITTER END Yacht Club �- British Virgin Islands Not much to report. We stayed on the dock for three days while we cleaned things up on the boat. We are now on a mooring ball (free until Dec. 19 for Salty Dawgs) and enjoying ourselves. Of course, there are chores to do; that is never ending, but still enjoying ourselves. Yesterday I took the free ferry to Gun Creek with 5 other Salty Dawgs and we shared a taxi to Spanish Town where we all lined up to get SIM cards. So, we now have normal cell service. Today we are going to take the dingy to Gun Creek to pick up a park pass so we can moor in some of the park areas. Probably pick up Carib (beer) as well. In the afternoon we are heading to the pool at the Bitter End so Laurie can swim. (I go off the boat) Boats are still arriving from Hampton. I think 2 came in yesterday and there may be a couple yet to go. Tomorrow (Wednesday) they are having the welcome to the BVIs Salty Dawg dinner. After that we are going to head out and start exploring different anchorages and islands. Not sure where yet, there are so many options but they will all be short �"day sails�". Take care all!
