Today is Saturday and we’ve been out for three days. Each morning has greeted us with fog! Yesterday and today the fog did not clear until well after 12. This makes it challenging for Keith as he totally has to depend on the chart plotter and radar for our location. You must really love it is standing at the wheel for 6 to 7 hours is a long time! Disappointed in that we’re not able to put the sails up yet. However we’ve had no rain and I’m able to go below, fix lunch & change my seating. We had interesting dockage last night. Beautiful 🤩 It was at a marina/resort! A bit pricey but very nice. They had a free shuttle bus that we took advantage of for groceries and dinner. We befriended the driver who has been at this resort since 2006. Apparently he spent many years as a bellhop and driver in New York City and just got fed up with the traffic and people so he came here. We observed two weddings, enjoy the hot tub and wonderful hot showers! Before we left this morning I went for a nice long walk along the shoreline. It was sunny and warm and clear but the minute we headed out of the marina a fog bank hit us. So grateful that everything on the boat seems to be working thus far. (minus the auto pilot) Our temperatures have been in the 50s so we are using the full range of clothes from down jackets to longsleeve T-shirts and shorts! VENTURE ON K&B
