Another beautiful day here on the canal. Coming out of Waterford there are 5 locks immediately. You get experienced very quickly. There were two other boats in the well with us each time through all 9 locks. We had hoped to do a short day but the marina we planned on for the night was too shallow and unable to accommodate our size. Thus we did another 21 miles! Even with that we got in about 4 pm with several other boaters. Interesting to me people on these big cruisers many are X sailors! They are very complementary of HeleAku, great tips and multiple stories. After a delicious Italian meal, laundry and showers we hit the hay. Our plan today is to do 30 miles, six locks and stay at a place where we can attend church with friends tomorrow. Venture On Brenda
