Doing his favorite thing, staying at the helm of a sailboat! We are just moseying down the canal and it’s oh so serene. Moving 20 to 30 miles every day and generally staying on a town wall. One night we anchored on Cross Lake. Surprising how many cyclist are riding along the towpath. A lady at the wall last night said she’s riding from Buffalo to Albany in July with a bunch of people and camping along side the canal every night. I’m not sure how long that was going to take her but it was close to 400 miles she said. We also spotted six bald eagles yesterday while going through the Montezuma swamp! My favorite stop in these little towns is in Newark. They always have a hostess on the dock to give you information, friendly, clean and free facilities and a great little town With multiple shops and stores nearby to walk to. Venture On Brenda
