The past month on the Erie Canal, has been awesome! So restful. Loved R visitors! Saturday we arrived in Tonawanda at noon. We were scheduled to have the mast put up on Monday morning. This guy is almost the only gig for putting your mast up and down and it is on a first come, first serve basis. He was available at 2 oโ€™clock and so we went for it. However it kind of put us under the gun to get everything tightened up and all three sails on and ready to leave before the next boat might come in! Keithโ€™s cousin and her husband stopped over and then we all enjoyed eating dinner out. We were hoping to attend church on Sunday with them but knew our first days journey for moving ahead was long n needed to get a early start. As it was we were underway for nine hours on Sunday. It included a half hour of rain and wind that was coming right at us so it was pretty rough and we ended up motoring most of the way. We are at a very nice marina in Dunkirk New York for a couple days. Great day to get the rust from all the salt water off the chrome and many other adjustments needed. The picture is of our last lift bridge coming out of Buffalo. Venture On Brenda
