Paducah Kentucky

We spent two nights here on the dock with 12 to 14 other loopers. Chatting with others I realize how blessed we have been. We did encounter a bit of rain on Thursday coming into Paducah. We had thunder and lightning off our stern. But others who are a day behind us were caught in very strong winds and heavy rain!
Paducah is a lovely and thriving Rivertown. Locals were telling us that they have three tow (tugboat) companies in town. The river is lined with tows of all sorts! Walking downtown the buildings have been restored beautifully. Keith and I rented bikes and rode into the business area. Lovely bike path and fall day π
Everyone was talking about how muddy and boring the Mississippi River was. We are relieved that the Ohio River is much cleaner and scenic. Another gorgeous day! πVenture On Keith n Brenda
