We had a great weekend back in Sarasota. Saturday we walked into town for a cup of coffee and ran into a humongous farmers market, expanding about six blocks. It had all kinds of international foods – vegetables and lovely orchids. We also came across another looper couple that we first met in Paducah, Kentucky! Small world.
Sunday we attended church and many of the store fronts along the way had the soccer worlds cup on. There was lots of excitement. Many of the restaurants serve outside on the sidewalk for breakfast – lunch or dinner. They even have white tablecloths! I can’t remember if we’ve mentioned that this is a culturally diverse city. Lots of interesting stuff!
Today started out chilly, so I sorted through some Christmas gifts and did some cleaning. Our sailing friends who we’ve not seen for five or six weeks arrived in time for dinner. After a lovely evening, they left on their dinghy to get to their boat, anchored just a few feet away from us. 🤩
