We had over 40 miles to cover today. We got an early start. We had a nice quiet night and the anchor pulled up easily. Coming under the bridge in Charleston South Carolina we were right in the middle of a huge regatta! Keith counted an easy hundred boats divided into three or four divisions. So pretty and reminded us of our racing days when we first moved to Canton Ohio. I guess we’ve been up on Lake Erie on a cruising boat for 22 or three years now. My how the time goes by.
we planned on anchoring around the Isle of Palms area, but didn’t find it very protected and were able to get into a dock. It’s a very nice area but they’re rebuilding the office/washrooms at this Marina so not much is available. Nice walk to the 🏖️ some friends we met on the loop, way back on the rivers live here. They’ve invited us over to go to church and have brunch with them. Looking forward to that. Venture On
