We anchored near Desoto National Park. Desoto was a Spanish conquistador who traveled the southeast U.S. looking for gold and badly mistreating the indians during the 16th century. And, he, of course, did not find any gold and died broke.

So, Nicki, Bruce and I got into the spirit of things. We're traveling the southeast and not finding gold.
