Cayo Costa State Park

We had a nice sail from Sarasota down to Charlotte Harbour. We sailed in at 6 and 7 knots until afternoon when the sea breeze blocked the NE wind so we had to start the engine.
We're anchored in Pelican Bay with 22 other boats. Yes, I counted them.
Cayo Costa State Park is one of the barrier islands. For the bargan price of 2 bucks we get to visit the park. Along with a troop of boy scouts, other campers, numerous boaters and fishermen, we hung out on the island. We walked beaches for miles and miles... and then we spent the afternoon napping on the boat. Better than a day at the office.
