Boqueron

Boqueron. Has been a perfect anchorage for us to rest and recuperate from our trip crossing The Mona Passage. Boqueron is a beach town. It's a cute little sleepy town on Monday & Tuesday, and on Wednesday they start to gear up for Thursday - Sunday. Tourist and locals both converge on the little town and a party ensues in the streets and on the beach.
We arrived on a Sunday and witnesses the end of a weekend. Then we enjoyed the peacefulness of Monday and Tuesday. We talked with another local boater who told us about the activities. While we like Boqueron and wouldn't mind hanging around for a while longer, the tug to move on to see more of Puerto Rico pulls on us.
We've only been in Puerto Rico a few days, but can tell we are going to be happy taking our time and meandering it's southern coastline towards the eastern end. Many new sites await us.
