Horseshoe Reef

We made 1 day stop at Horseshoe Reef. Pictured above, we anchored in the lee of the reef which was our only protection from the Atlantic Ocean.
The anchorage was very safe, with soft sand holding, but a little more bumpy than we prefer. As you can see the water is swimming pool clear. This is a very popular spot, so you won't be alone.
Horseshoe Reef is a national park in the Grenadines. They will charge you to anchor or use a mooring ball in this park.
There is a turtle sanctuary within this park.
