Well over 400 miles and still no engine. Right now we are sailing with just a reefed main up. We are going slow so that we get there in the daylight tomorrow morning and not sometime in the middle of the night tonight. It has been a great sail but it has been very lumpy and rolly the last couple of days. We are looking forward to being anchored in a nice calm anchorage tomorrow off of some tropical island.

AIS has been wonderful. We have passed or been passed by over 40 ships on this trip. AIS plots them right on our computer screen so that we know where they are and where they are going so we can get out of the way. It also says who they are so that you can call them if you need to. We have needed to do that so far 3 times to politely ask them to change course. We are still traveling with Zephyrus and they are very thankful we have this system, they have already said they will be getting themselves one for Christmas. For all the expensive stuff you can purchase for boats I think AIS was $150, and to me I would choose it over a radar if I had to choose between the two.

We are right in the middle of a rain squall, the boat is appreciating its first fresh water bath in 5 months.
