We left Dividing Creek (off Magothy Bay, North of Annapolis) today. We've had a great time hanging out here, aside from our visits from the police while we were tied up to an unused dock at a Marina that had been foreclosed upon ha ha :). This is a very peaceful and beautiful place during the fall--and the kids have had a ball hanging out with Colton, Darby, Chris and Josh and the other kids from the neighborhood.. We really enjoyed hanging out at the home of the crew of Hullabaloo (Dave, Lisa, Brie, Colton and Darby)--Thanks for the wonderful hospitality guys! We hope you start your trip soon. And thanks to the crew of Liberty (Dave, Nancy, Chris and Josh) for introducing us, and for also hanging out with us. Get those solar panels on, and get going!! See you soon.
We have set an agressive schedule--we head for Norfolk tomorrow (long 18 hr day), to be followed by a long day to Manteo beginning at 5 a.m. to get through the Norfolk bridges and lock (about 14 hrs total). Then, weather permitting, we will bash our way down the Pamlico Sound to get to Beaufort before halloween weekend.
