Morning Glory is still in Opua, NZ. We've been here for just about a month now. We bought a car shortly after arriving, and we have been spending our time lounging around in the Opua/Paihia area--though we have made several trips to Kerikeri, as well as trips to Auckland and Whangerei. This past week, Amy's sister Donna has been visiting, so we've also done a fair bit of exploring the north end of the north island. Tomorrow we will drive to the Rotorua area which is full of hot springs, caves, and the like. Perhaps we will also visit Hobbiton.

Sometime after the first of the year we will begin sorting out our boat projects so that we are ready to leave in April/May.

In the short term I will also sort through our photos from the last year, put them into albums on this site, and recap the last year which took us from the US east coast to the the Bahamas, Jamaica, Kuna Yala, Panama, Galapagos, Marquesas, Tuamotus, Society Islands, Suwarrow, Am. Samoa, Tonga, and to New Zealand.
