We are still on our way out of the Raja Ampat area, and are presently anchored at the far west end of Misool. This used to be a logging base, but there is nothing here now. Interestingly, the jungle has so overgrown the area you can hardly tell anything was here in the past. Very nice protected anchorage. Tomorrow we'll press on to the Spice Islands -- which were held by the Dutch for a good long time. They were the original source of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon, until those spices were brought elsewhere for cultivation. One of the Spice Islands was traded by the Dutch for Manhattan!
