We left Ambon yesterday. We are now out in the middle of nowwhere in the Banda Sea. It is flat calm. The surface has some roll due to waves from somewhere a long way off. But the surface is glassy. We wondered if we would see any swell from the earthquake yesterday. There was a 6.3 magnitude earthquake about 225 miles south of Ambon--but we didn't detect anything.

We are on our way to an atoll in the Wakatobi area, but only for a short stop. We are still debating where to go next. But it will probably be Labuan Bajo on the west end of Flores. Its not certain because we are motoring full time, and we don't like to do that. If wind shows up, we'll likely follow it wherever it takes us...
