One of my favorite movies of all time is Forrest Gump. Since they filmed the "bench scenes" in Savannah, I set out to find the area and THE BENCH! Turns out that the bench secenes were filmed in an area of downtown Savannah called Chippewa Square. Remember the opening scene where the feather is flying around before landing on Forrest's foot? That is the area.... including this steeple which is featured prominently in that scene.
