This was one of my most recent purchases. You sailors out there will recognize this as an EPIRB. Thats an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon to you landlubbers. If i set if off, it automatically contacts the authorities (Coast Guard / Rescue Personnel) with my personal and vessel information and my location. They can use this information to hopefully find and remove my grateful behind from the water. Pretty cool huh?!?
