More Family and CREW!!

24 July 2008 | Racine, Wi
Mike
This is my Cousin, Janis and her son Cole. I think we decided that makes him my fist cousing once-removed....oh well who the hell cares!

Anyway, Janis' Mother, Irene and my Mother, Norma Fay (ring a bell?) were sisters. Janis is a very sweet and generous lady. This seems to be the trend with all of the women in our family.

Not only is Janis entrusting me with her son, Cole for the first two weeks of my journey, she also gave me an ipod. What a sweetheart!

Anyway, they came up for a visit and we got some sailing in, in some moderately challenging conditions. 20 knots of wind and 4-5 foot seas. Everybody handled it well and Cole even took the helm for a good while. He did a great job of holding a course.

I'm really looking forward to having him with me.
