Norma on the Hudson

Well, we finished the Erie Canal and we're tied up the the city dock in Troy, NY. I'm learning a whole new concept here.... tides. Even though we're 150 miles upstream from NYC, the Hudson has tides.
Being mostly a Great Lakes sailor, it's something new to get used to and figured into my travel plans.
Anyway, Boat Neighbor Jan went home today and Carl and Danny (Terry's boyfriend and son) are flying in tomorrow. I have an appointment to get the mast re-stepped in Catskill, NY on Tuesday. I hope to be tied up in the 79th Street Boat Basin in New York City by Friday.
The picture is a few days old. It's Norma tied up to the city dock on the canal in Newark,NY. I'll get some new ones taken soon.
