Anchored Out Again
31 May 2009 | Tea Kettle Creek, Georgia
Mike
Well today, I left Jekyll Island and began weaving my way through the rivers, creeks and salt marshes of coastal Georgia. It was hot but it was a nice day. I spent the night anchored out in a remote area called Tea Kettle Creek.
As the name implies, its a creek (duh!), and its in the middle of a giant salt marsh, which means there are no roads, towns or houses anywhere nearby. Consequently its very quiet and very dark. A good place to spend the night. Here's picture of the sun setting on the anchorage.
