Yes, it's the end of Day 10 and we are halfway! We've had great weather so far and the new spinnaker has already paid for itself in fuel savings. Remember the movie Waterworld? Well, that's where we are currently living and I think the islands at the end of this journey will be very similar to the one at the end of the movie. There has been no traffic at all, just booby birds and flying fish and one abandoned panga (small Mexican fishing boat) floating along with birds perched all over it and heaps of fish swimming under it. The good news is that there is virtually no trash in this ocean, unlike the North Pacific passage we did from Hawaii to Vancouver.
