Passage to Marquesas - 3rd instalment

21 March 2016 | 04 28'S:132 05'W, Almost there...
Jill
We have had a dream passage with great weather and comfortable conditions every day except one. With about 3 days to go we had 24 hours of lumpy seas, waves banging underneath, boat shaking and too rough to sleep in the bedroom BUT the other 18 days were great and you can't ask for more than that! On this passage we crossed the equator for the 3rd time in Hooroo and had the traditional party with some classic rock, rum and coke, chippies and the mandatory offering to Neptune (some of the rum). It was a beautiful day and there are photos in the album to show you how lovely it was. On arrival in the Marquesas we will already be halfway from Mexico to Fiji - the long empty half behind us!
